1973 Gottlieb Jungle Pinball (4 player)
1973 Gottlieb Wild Life Pinball (2 player)
1973 Gottlieb Jungle Life Pinball (1 player)

Description: Gottlieb Jungle pinball, Gottlieb Wild Life pinball, Gottlieb Jungle Life pinball. Same game, just different number of players (4 players versus 2 players versus 1 player). Gottlieb sold this game design in the two flavors, though they are essentially the exact same game (with slight artwork differences). The 2 player version (Wild Life) had a lower price than the 4 player (Jungle), and was marketed to game operators with less money to spend.

The side star rollovers advance the bonus. So a good shot up the side lanes (twice) can max the bonus out at 10,000 points (max'ing the bonus lights the side lanes alternatively for a Replay.) At this point the only thing to shoot for is the center spinner and pop bumper area. The top rollover lanes don't advance an A-B-C progression (unusual for a Gottlieb), so they really don't do anythng than add points. The two side lanes are a little interesting because they open up the left side kicker and right ball shooter lanes. (But that really doesn't net much.) Because of this, the Gottlieb Jungle is not my particular favorite 1970s 3" flipper Gottlieb pinball. There's just not enough to shoot for.

They made 5775 Gottlieb Jungle pinballs, and 3875 Gottlieb Wild Life pinballs, and 2731 Gottlieb Jungle Life pinball machines (for export to Italy).
